Three Livingston County 4H members placed in the top three of the State 4H Speaking contest. 39 youths representing 20 counties competed in several speaking categories, including traditional prepared speaking, extemporaneous speaking, technology-assisted speeches, and interpretation.
Three Livingston County participants from Hale Happy Hustlers 4-H Club placed. They include:
- Alyssa Harris, second place – Intermediate Technology-Assisted Speaking.
- Rayanna Harris, second place and Tabitha Harris, third place – Junior Prepared Speaking.
