The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 99 calls for service Thursday. The calls include continued investigations and follow-up.
9:33 am, Officers assisting Emergency Services with a vehicle on fire behind the auto care center in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Employees at the scene attempting to extinguish the fire. The fire was extinguished and the vehicle was towed from the premises.
6:55 pm, Report of an elderly male subject exposing himself to a girl inside a business in the 500 block of W. Business 36. Officers responded to the scene to find the suspect had already left the business. Officers received a description of the suspect but were unable to locate the man. The investigation continues.
7:32 pm, Officers responded to Washington Street and Blackfoot Drive on a reported three-vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that two vehicles were southbound on Washington when a vehicle failed to yield when making a left turn from Blackfoot to travel south on Washington. One of the southbound vehicles braked hard and was struck from behind by the following vehicle. No injuries were reported and the vehicles were driven from the scene. The driver of the vehicle entering Washington Street from Blackfoot Drive was cited for an improper turn.
