State Troopers report one accident and several arrests for the area counties over the weekend.
Saturday morning, a Marceline man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Macon County. State Troopers responded to the accident on Route C, south of Bevier to find 38-year-old Jason Farris of Marceline was northbound and ran off the right side of the road, struck the ditch and his pick-up overturned. Farris had minor injuries and was taken to Samaritan Hospital for treatment. He was not wearing a safety belt.
Arrests in the report for the weekend include:
Saturday at about 6:30 am, Troopers in Clay County arrested 65-year-old Mary J Drake of Polo for alleged DWI with drugs and failure to drive in a single lane. She was taken to the Clay County Jail on a 12-hour hold.
Saturday at about 2:45 pm, Troopers in Linn County arrested 18-year-old Nathan L Taylor of Ashburn for alleged DWI, speeding, failure to drive in the right lane, minor visibly intoxicated, and minor in possession of alcohol. He was processed and released.
Sunday at about 2:40 am, Troopers in Sullivan County arrested 21-year-old Cameron M Richardson of Milan for alleged possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released.
Sunday at about 9:30 pm in Linn County, Troopers arrested 32-year-old Nathan M Ringwald of St. Genevieve for alleged driving while suspended and speeding. He was processed and released.
