Chillicothe Police responded to 88 calls for service Tuesday. The calls include:
12:54 am, A 33-year-old was stopped for a traffic violation at Ryan Lane and Washington Street. As a result of the stop, the person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. They were processed and released
1:57 am, Officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Officers found the glass shattered on the east side service door and a person had gained entry. They had left the building before officers arrived. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
5:33 pm, officers took a report of a bicyclist striking a car at Polk and Washington Street. Minor damage to the vehicle was reported and the bicyclist left the scene before being contacted by the Officer.
6:19 pm, Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Fairchild Street for a report of dogs at large. One dog was located and officers made contact with the owner. Officers are investigating the incident, assuring the dogs have a city license and are up to date on vaccinations. The owner was warned of the violation.
