The City of Chillicothe has an opportunity to purchase three police vehicles for $145,000 that could be delivered very quickly. City Administrator Darin Chappell says these are not in this year’s budget, but they are available NOW.
Chappell says, to follow the city’s purchasing policy, they will go out to bid for the vehicles.
If the city approves the purchase, they would need to install the radios and put the appropriate stickers on the vehicles and they are ready to go.
