The Chillicothe Cross Country teams will send two boys and three girls to the State Cross Country meet thanks to their finishes in the District meet on Saturday.
Lady Hornets qualifying for the state meet are Yoo Jung Lee, who finished 18th, Juliann Gabrielson who finished 20th and Kadence Shipers who finished 22nd.
The entire girls team missed qualifying for state by one point.
On the boys side two runners finished high enough to advance to the state meet. Cain Evans finished 18th and Austin Lyford 22nd. The Boys team finished 8th out of 14 full teams.
