The Chillicothe Police Department has been busy the past couple days with several investigations.
Tuesday:
At about 4:50 am, there was a report of a suspicious person outside a business in the 1200 block of Washington Street.
6:00 am, Officers took a report of a person loitering at a business in the 1100 block of Walnut. The person was asked to leave and left without incident.
11:43am, Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Calhoun Street in reference to a report of possible child abuse.
4:25 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of a stalled vehicle in the 1100 block of Polk Street.
5:50 pm, Officers were given an extension cord which had been found by a citizen in the 300 block of Polk St. The cord can be claimed at the Police Department.
8:25 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of animal neglect at Northwood Terrace and Grandview. Animal control was also dispatched and two German Shepard dogs were taken to the Animal Shelter.
Wednesday:
7:35 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of two dogs constantly barking and disturbing neighbors in the 900 block of Fairlane. The dog’s owner was contacted and advised of the complaint.
2:23pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious activity in the 600 block of Business 36. Officers made contact with the persons and found everything to be in order.
4:30pm, Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1200 block of Sunset. The incident was determined to be a civil landlord/tenant issue.
