The Chillicothe Hornet Homecoming is Friday. That means a full day of activities for the students and the community.
The Students will start the day with the final Spirit Day theme – Checkers. They are of course asked to wear their RED & BLACK.
Chillicothe schools will dismiss early Friday, after lunch. The Elementary Schools dismiss at 12:25. The Middle School and High School dismiss at 12:30. Buses will run at those times.
Terry from the Bus Barn says if the students get on the bus, they will be taken home. If you have a student that will stay in town for the Homecoming Parade, the parent will have to find a way for the student to get to the appropriate location. There will be no relay from the school to the downtown area.
The Homecoming Parade will start at 2:00 pm and will follow the traditional route, from behind the Middle School, east on Polk to Washington, south on Washington to Third Street, East on Third to Locust and north on Locust through the downtown area.
