The high school football playoffs continue this weekend.
In 8-man semi-final results from Friday:
Drexel beat King City 56 to 28. They will face Worth County in the title game December 2nd at pm. Worth County beat North Shelby 36 to 34.
Class 1 Semifinal games today (Saturday) are Marceline against Hayti and East Buchanan against Thayer, both at 1:00 pm.
Class 2 semifinal games today are Higginsville vs Lutheran St Charles at 2:00 pm and Richmond vs Lamar at 1:00 pm.
Class 3 Semifinals today are Mexico vs St Louis St Mary’s and Cardinal Ritter vs Kansas City St Pius X both at 2:00 pm
Class 4 Semifinals today are North County vs Hannibal at 1:00 pm and
Mary Institute Country Day vs Smithville at 1:30 pm
One Class 5 Semifinal today is Jackson vs Webb City at 1:00 pm. The winner plays Holt, who beat Fort Osage Friday 31-14
Class 6 championship at 1:00 pm today is Liberty North vs Christian Brothers College
