A motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon in Grundy County took the life of the driver. State Troopers report 62-year-old Bradley A Collins of Spickard died at the scene of the accident that happened at about 4:00 pm on Route C at Spickard. According to the report, Collins was eastbound when he failed to make it through a curve, crossed the centerline, and ran off the north side of the road. He struck an embankment and was ejected from the motorcycle. The report indicates he was not wearing a helmet.
