Several State representatives and senators spoke at a political forum in Trenton Monday morning. One of the questions asked was their perspective on Community Colleges. Representative Rusty Black says for economic development, they are very important.
Black says the Community Colleges are able to respond to the need of the rural workforce, including farming and small businesses.
He says his role is to help bring the money to the schools to let them fulfill the needs of their communities.
