A single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning in Carroll County left the driver with minor injuries. The accident happened at about 12:25 am on Route E, near Carroll County road 211. According to the report, 42-year-old Paul W Young of Lexington was westbound and ran off the left side of the road. He struck an embankment and his vehicle overturned and caught fire. He was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
