It’s a high school basketball doubleheader tonight when Chillicothe travels to Trenton.
The Girls teams play at 6:00pm. For Chillicothe, it’s their first game since winning the Savannah Tournament last week. The Lady Hornets put their 4-0 record up against Trenton, which is 2-4 and coming off a loss to Marceline on Tuesday. Last week they finished second in the Gallatin Tournament.
The Lady Hornets are shooting 35% from three-point range and 51% from two-point range. Jessica Reeter leads the team in scoring with 46 points in four games and Essie Hicks with 43 points in four games.
The Chillicothe Boys are 2-2 so far with back-to-back wins over KC Hogan Prep and Lexington.
Trenton is looking for the first win, but Hornets Coach Tim Cool isn’t take the Bulldogs lightly.
