One-hundred-twenty-nine calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Thursday. Some of the calls include:
1:06 am, Officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Glenwood Drive for a well-being check. The subject was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.
10:49 am, Officers took a walk-in report of a Domestic Violence incident that occurred in the latter part of September, 2021, within Chillicothe. Investigation is ongoing at this time.
12:51 pm, Officer out in the 400 block of Business US 36 to pick up possible counterfeit currency. Investigation continuing.
1:48 pm, Officers out in the 500 block of Jackson Street on a report of possible fraudulent use of a credit device. Investigation continuing.
3:08 pm, Attempted fraudulent use of credit device at business in the 600 block of W. Business 36. Suspects use was unsuccessful and was gone prior to Officer’s arrival. Information was obtained and investigation continuing.
3:14pm, Officers responded to the US 65 Highway overpass at US 36 Highway for a 2 vehicle crash. One driver was cited for making an improper turn. No injuries were reported.
5:51 pm, Officer out in the 2700 block of N. Washington Street to recover an item of controlled substance that had been found. The substance was brought to the PD for disposal.
7:38 pm Officers assisting Emergency Services on a medical call on Highway 190 near Hornet Drive. Subject slumped over in vehicle. The subject was transported for treatment.
