The Chillicothe R-II School Board approved a Return to Learning Plan as required by the federal government and the State of Missouri. Part of this includes the reporting of COVID 19 positive tests and close contacts. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says they had approved a plan in August.
Dr Wiebers says there were new requirements resulting from lawsuits in the state.
The district will report close contacts to the students and parents, but are no longer expected or required to report them to the local health department.
