A supplier of electricity to area cooperatives is the recipient of an electric loan from the USDA. This is part of a $5.2 billion dollar package to build and improve critical rural infrastructure in 46 states and Puerto Rico. This is through the Building a Better America program to help expand access to high-speed internet, clean water and reliable electricity in people’s homes and businesses across rural America.
A $78,000 Electric loan was awarded to Associated Electric Cooperative, a power supplier in Missouri, Iowa and Oklahoma.
