One-hundred-twenty-two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Monday. Some of the calls include:
7:18 am, Officers assisted Emergency Services on a smoke alarm possible fire in the 10 block of Asher Street. No fire was found.
11:46 am, Report of a two-vehicle accident in the area of Hope Haven. Vehicle making a turn and a vehicle backing from a driveway. Parties exchanged information and insurance to handle the incident.
2:02 pm, Officer out on warrant service in the 10 block of S. Washington Street. A 37-year-old Wheeling resident was arrested on two Livingston County warrants, one for Stealing and one for Possession of Controlled Substance & Tampering with Physical Evidence in a Felony Case. They were unable to post the cash-only bond and were held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
5:36 pm, Report of theft from a business in the 1300 block of N. Washington Street. The investigation is ongoing.
6:12 pm, Officers responded to 1500 block of Springhill Rd. for a domestic assault. Upon investigation it was determined that a juvenile was struck by a parent, leaving marks on the child. The parent was later located and arrested, processed, and released pending further investigation.
