The purchase of the additional 200 acres for the Chillicothe Industrial Park was finalized Tuesday with the closing of the sale by the Nibarger’s to the city. Chillicothe Economic Developer Terry Rumery says it is the biggest Economic Development news for the community.
Rumery says this will bring Chillicothe back into the scope of interest for businesses looking to expand or move to the region.
Rumery says the land is a start. He says Chillicothe is also in good shape for utilities and he will talk about that next week.
