Two people have died from a Thursday shooting in Kirksville. According to a Kirksville Television Station report, Police responded to a report of shots fired a few blocks from Truman State University. Police report finding multiple victims with apparent gunshot wounds outside and inside of a nearby residence. A 22-year-old man and an 18-month old boy did not survive their injuries. A third person is listed in critical condition.
Police describe the suspect Anquan Eugene Glover as a black male, 5’11” tall, weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
At last report, police have been unable to locate the suspect, which is considered armed and dangerous.
Thursday afternoon, the Highway Patrol reported at 2:00 pm Glover’s Cell Phone last pinged in the Brookfield area. Shortly after that, the phone was shut off.
Police are reminding the public that Glover is a person of interest and that a criminal charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
Chillicothe Police reports officers were patrolling Chillicothe, watching for the suspect. The suspect’s vehicle was reportedly recovered in another jurisdiction,
