Chillicothe Police received 85 calls for service on 12/31/2021.
1:02 am Report of a suspicious vehicle on a parking lot in the 500 block of E. Business 36 Hwy. Officer checked vehicle and occupants. They were taking a break from driving, had come from out-of-state. Everything OK.
10:32 am Complaint of an abandoned vehicle parked in the 600 block of Jackson Street. The Owner was contacted and given a warning to remove the vehicle or be towed.
12:52 pm, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Jackson Street for a subject reported to be suffering from anxiety issues. Officers made contact with the subject who eventually went to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.
2:33 pm, Report of several children left in a vehicle on the lot in the 1200 block N. Washington Street. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the parents.
5:59 pm, Officers stopped a vehicle at Cherry and Jackson Streets for a traffic violation….the 42-year-old driver was processed, cited for driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated, and released.
6:16 pm, Officer speaking with a subject in the 1300 block of N. Washington Street about possible harassment. No report at this time.
7:30 pm, Reported property dispute in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street. The subjects were contacted and were advised it is a civil issue and one party left the area.
10:58 pm, Officer stopped a vehicle near Litton Road and Lakeview Drive for a traffic violation. The 21-year-old driver of the vehicle was found to be the subject of an active Livingston County warrant and was determined to be driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated. The subject’s vehicle was towed and the subject was transported to the PD where they were processed, posted bond on the warrant, cited for the driving charges, and released.
