Cliff Wilson The New Private Land Conservationist

The northwest region Missouri Department of Conservation announced Cliff Wilson is the new Community and Private Land Conservationist.  The position was previously held by Scott Roy.

Wilson will be stationed at the Grundy Co USDA office in Trenton and will be serving landowners and constituents in Mercer, Grundy, and Livingston counties. Prior to his new appointment, Wilson worked in fish research and management for 18 years. He has been assisting private landowners with impoundment management since 2017. He brings a knowledge and understanding of assisting landowners in meeting their management goals.

Wilson’s new responsibilities will include providing planning and technical assistance to landowners in the areas of fish, forest, and wildlife management, community conservation outreach, and assisting with USDA program delivery.
