A report of smoke from the basement of a home summoned Trenton fire Department to 1801 Chicago, just before midnight, Saturday night. The fire department arrived to find smoke. The fire was reported in the basement of the structure, but firefighters found no fire there. They did find fire in a room on the 1st floor, above the furnace. The fire was put out and fans were used to clear the smoke.
No one was home at the time of the fire
The report indicates extensive smoke and fire damage to the basement and extensive smoke and moderate fire damage to one room upstairs.
The cause of the fire was “Undetermined.”
