Snacks are not necessarily a bad thing, but they should be healthy snacks. TJ Sethi, Dekalb County Engagement Specialist in Nutrition and Health, says in the US, studies show snacks make up 1/3 of our daily calories.
Sethi recommends healthier snacks.
She says we should stop thinking of the snacks as a sweet treat, and look to healthy food, like fruits to get that sweet boost.
