The Livingston County Health Center reports 114 active cases of COVID-19 in the county. Ten of those were added Tuesday. That brings the total number of cases of COVID-19 to 2729.
The Livingston County Health Center is doing COVID-19 testing by appointment only. Contact the health center at 660.240.1590 to make an appointment.
Ann Burchett from the Health Center says they are not offering the Rapid Antigen testing at this time.
Some have asked why they are not told what variant they have after getting the tests. Burchette says the Rapid Tests do not have the capability to provide that information.
She says the PCR test can provide additional information, but is is on a limited basis. She says they do not run a variant check on every test.
