The 2022 Livingston County Budget includes total funds available of $16.6 million dollars and expenditures totaling $13.7 million. The budget was presented in a public hearing Thursday morning, with no one from the public in attendance.
Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas talked about some of the highlights in this year’s budget.
Douglas says the budget reflects increases in salaries.
The Salary Commission also approved a 5% increase for elected officials.
The budget is now available for review in the County Clerk’s office until the final public hearing on January 31st at 9:00 am. That hearing will also be held in the commission room of the courthouse.
