The Chillicothe R-II School District is doing very well on reserves in their finances. Superintendent Dr Dan Wibers says the situation is much better than just a couple of years ago.
Wiebers says while some of the funds used to build the reserve came for CARES Act, ARPA, and other COVID-related assistance, they are also making changes needed to keep the district in a better financial position.
