The state unemployment report was released by the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, and Missouri’s rate and the rates for most of the local counties nudged slightly higher for the month of December.
For the state, the rate is 2.7%, up from 2.6% in November. The National rate is 3.7%, down slightly from 3.9% in November.
Looking at the local counties… Caldwell County was the only local county to see a drop in unemployment from November to December.
