A two-vehicle accident Tuesday night in Chariton County left one driver with minor injuries. State Troopers report 51-year-old Anna M Crawford of Salisbury was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of minor injuries following the accident on US 24 near Salisbury. The accident happened at about 8:30 pm as Crawford was westbound and an eastbound vehicle crossed the centerline and struck the Crawford vehicle head-on. No information is available for the other driver.
Troopers in Daviess County arrested a Bethany woman Tuesday evening. Thirty-five-year-old Amber N Watkins was arrested on a Clinton County warrant for an alleged seatbelt violation. She was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the posting of bond.
