The Winter Storm Warning for Chillicothe has been downgraded to a Winter Weather Advisory. National Weather Service Meteorologist Chris Bowman says the heaviest snow will be south of Chillicothe.
There is also a possibility of some ice accumulation just ahead of the snow. The ice is expected to be less than a tenth of an inch.
Areas just to the south of Livingston County could see high snow amounts and could see more problems with travel. Bowman recommends limiting travel to our south and allowing extra distance between vehicles if you must travel.
The snow is expected to end between 4 and 6 this afternoon and possibly earlier for our area.
