A Milan woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday evening on Highway 5 near Laclede. State Troopers report 27-year-old Kirsten I Tharp had moderate injuries in the accident that happened as she was northbound on Highway 5 and a southbound vehicle, driven by 42-year-old Glenda Y Miranda of Purdin, crossed the center line and struck Tharp’s vehicle head-on. Tharp was flown to University Hospital in Columbia. She was not wearing a safety belt.
A Tennesse man was arrested by State Troopers in Livingston County Thursday morning. Thirty-nine-year-old Joshua P Todd of Henderson, TN was arrested at 9:39 am for alleged DWI and driving while suspended or revoked. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on a 24-hour hold.
