All three of Chillicothe’s State Wrestling Tournament competitors are still wrestling today in the second day of the tournament.
138 pound qualifier Bryce Dominique lost his opening round match to a Fulton Senior with a 46-3 record by pin. Dominique bounced back to beat a Logan-Rogersville wrestler by pin in 3:33 and will continue in the wrestleback bracket today.
170 pound qualifier Brody Carins pinned a St Charles West wrestler in the first round in 2:18. He lost in the quarterfinals today against a St Genevieve Valle Senior by pin in 3:39
182 pound qualifier Brock Miller won his first match against a
Lutheran St Charles Senior by a 12-8 decision. Miller lost to an Osage Senior that has only lost one match in two years. Miller lost by pin in 2:19 and now faces a Odessa Junior in the wrestlebacks.
The tournament runs through Saturday.
