A local architect was officially inducted into the Chillicothe Hall of Fame. The Livingston County Preservation Society held the ceremony Friday in the third-floor courtroom of the Livingston county courthouse. Local architect R. Warren Roberts was a much sought-after architect and designed many buildings throughout Chillicothe and the state, including the Livingston County courthouse.
Comments week made by Representative Rusty Black and the display was unveiled during the ceremony. As an added surprise, several descendants of Roberts were present with a scrapbook.
The Chillicothe Hall of Fame recognizes our pioneer founding citizens who have made significant contributions to our community. To nominate someone, please submit a 2-page biography along with a picture if possible via email to livcopreservation@gmail.com. To be considered, the nominee must have been deceased for at least 35 years (to maintain historical perspective) and have made outstanding contributions to the character of Chillicothe
