09:32 AM Officers responded to a crash involving two semis near Mitchell Road and US 36. No injuries were reported.
09:54 AM Officers responded to a domestic assault in the 1600 block of Burnam. The male suspect allegedly punched a female victim in the face causing injury. Charges being pursued against the male suspect.
06:00 PM A vehicle that had been stolen from a local dealer in Chillicothe was located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The victim has been contacted and advised of how to retrieve their vehicle.
08:55 PM Officers arrested a man on a probation and parole warrant at his home in the 400 block of Polk Street. He was transported to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Saturday,
1:11 AM Officers made a traffic stop in the 400 block of Calhoun which resulted in the arrest of a man for DWI. He was cited and released.
02:55 PM Officers responded to the 200 block of Walnut for a dog running at large that had bitten a citizen. The animal owner was located and issued multiple citations.
07:48 PM Officers at the Law Enforcement Center took a report of child abuse. After a brief investigation, officers determined the incident happened in a different jurisdiction and the potential victims did not reside within city limits. An initial report was taken and was forwarded to the proper agency.

12:36 AM A traffic stop in the 400 block of Washington resulted in the arrest of a woman for DWI. She was cited and released.
01:03 AM Officers conducted a traffic stop near the Ann and Washington Street resulted in the arrest of a man for DWI. He was cited and released.
01:06 AM Officers made a traffic stop near the BUS. 36 and US 65 which resulted in the arrest of a man for DWI and the arrest of a woman for interfering with the officer’s investigation and resisting arrests. Both were cited and released.
02:13 AM Officers investigated an assault that occurred in the 1100 block of Hogan Street. That investigation continues.
