The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 127 calls for service Monday. Some of the calls include:
11:15 AM, Officers received a report from a citizen in regards to getting a scam phone call. Citizen advised caller reported to be from Publishers Clearing House and that the citizen had won a large amount of money, but had to pay a fee to collect the funds. CPD reminds citizens these types of calls, where callers require payment of any nature, are scam calls. Do not give scam callers your personal information.
3:24 PM, Officers arrested a 28-year-old male for driving while revoked following a traffic stop at Graves and Green. The driver was processed, cited, and released.
4:01 PM, Officers recovered a firearm in the 300 block of Webster Street.
8:14 PM, Officers responded to the 2700 block of Tomahawk regarding an animal that appeared to have been shot. Officer determined the animal had been struck by a vehicle and was given to animal control for care.
