The Linn County Court handed down a sentence of 21 years in prison for Alexander Blackwell. Blackwell was sentenced to:
- 8 years for Domestic Assault in the Second Degree.
- 5 years for Domestic Assault in the Second Degree and 4 years for Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
These will be served concurrent to one another - 4 years for Possession of a Controlled Substance – to be served consecutive to #1 and #2.
Blackwell is expected to serve a total of 12 years in prison.
