A local contractor was awarded the bid for the Chillicothe Street improvements Phase II. The $1.22 million bid was accepted from M&M Utilities of Chillicothe. The project includes the repaving and related work on Irving Avenue, Olive Street, and Woodrow Avenue.
The Engineer’s Estimate for the project was just under $1.35 million, so this is a savings of about $130,000 on the project.
The Council also approved the engineering services contract for the project with Allgeier, Martin and Associates. They will handle the construction phase engineering for the project.
