The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 163 calls for service over the weekend.
Saturday
9:03 am, a driver was stopped for a traffic violation and an investigation revealed that the subject was wanted on a Caldwell County warrant for no insurance. The driver was arrested and bond. They also received a citation for expired vehicle registration.
1:43 pm, an Officer working traffic grant stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. They found there was a warrant for the passenger. The passenger was arrested on the warrant, possession of methamphetamine, paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence. The driver was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Both were incarcerated in Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail and the vehicle was towed.
6:02 pm, Property damage/leaving the scene report in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street. Investigation continuing.
8:38 pm, Subject reporting possible property damage to vehicle in the 200 block of N. Washington Street.
Sunday:
7:10 PM, Officers received information of a wanted person was at a business in the 700 block of Elm Street. Officers located the subject, wanted on a State of Missouri Parole Warrant, and the subject resisted the arrest by fleeing on foot from officers. Officers arrested the person less than a block away. Additional charges of possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest are being sought. That person was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
