A Higginsville man died in a single-vehicle accident Saturday evening. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 89-year-old Guy R Stanley of Higginsville died at the scene of the accident on Highway 13 at Highway 6. According to the report, Stanly was northbound at about 7:25 and failed to stop at the intersection of Highway 13 and Missouri 6 in Gallatin. The vehicle went off the road, struck some trees, and went down a steep embankment.
