The Chillicothe R-II School District has two ballot issues for the April 5th election. The School District is asking the voters to approve a no levy increase for improvements in the district. The Superintendent, Dan Wiebers and a couple of committee members, Julie McCoy and Dave Rogers, answered questions about the items on the ballot.
Superintendent Wiebers talked about be ballot issues.
The second Ballot Question actually says increase. McCoy explains how this is not an increase.
She says under the ballot language, there is no sunset on the 12 cent levy.
McCoy also explains how construction is possible without an increase in the levy
Rogers says there are savings in construction over renovation.
The group also answered additional questions on traffic flow, what will happen with the current buildings and how to get additional information. KCHI will have that information on Thursday afternoon. You can also check their Facebook Page
