The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for the past few weeks includes several investigations arrests and Most Wanted.
March 2nd, a deputy was on Bryan Street when a vehicle speeding north on Edgewood went through the intersection nearly striking the patrol vehicle. The driver eventually stopped and the deputy found a juvenile too young to be driving had allegedly stolen a relative’s vehicle. Multiple other juvenile passengers were also present. The deputy found a handgun, marijuana, and vaping items. Parents and the juvenile officer were notified.
Deputies continue to investigate animal abuse/neglect in the Wheeling area involving around 80 head of livestock. Deputies were assisted by a Vet, the prosecuting attorney and livestock owner about the case and remedies.
Arrests include:
March 16th, at about 1:46 pm, deputies arrested 30-year-old Spencer Cowan Flick of Carrollton, on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Property Damage. He posted bond and was released.
March 22nd, 48-year-old Donald Gene Rogers of Chula was arrested after he surrendered on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Domestic Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He posted bond and was released.
Most Wanted Arrests:
March 19th, 29-year-old Christopher Eugene Moss of Breckenridge, was arrested by Caldwell County authorities on Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Appear where the original charge of alleged DWI-Persistent Offender.
March 21st, 45-year-old William Russel Helm was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Register as a Sex Offender-2nd offense. He was held without bond.
