Ninety-two calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Department Tuesday.
11:09 am, officers took a report of scammers calling to advise a resident had won a sweepstakes. They were told that to claim the prize, they had to buy gift cards and provide the numbers to pay a fee. The Chillicothe Police Department says this is a SCAM.
6:13 pm, Officer responded to the 200 block of N. Washington Street on a report of leaving the scene of an accident. Information was gathered and the investigation is continuing.
6:39 pm, Officers responded to US 36 and Mitchell for an accident involving two vehicles. Two people in one of the vehicles received minor injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene. One of the drivers was issued a citation for failure to make a left turn from the proper lane.
