Three people were injured in an accident Friday morning in Grundy County, including a 4-year-old child. State Troopers report the two-vehicle accident that happened on US 65 at SE 20th Street at about 7:20 am. According to the report, 33-year-old Rebecca Steinhoff of Spickard was slowed to make a turn, when she was struck from behind by a car driven by 24-year-old Landan P Ellis of Trenton. Ellis had moderate injuries and Steinhoff and her 4-year-old passenger had minor injuries. All three were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment. They were all wearing proper restraints.
