The Sampson Creek Bridge on Route Z in Daviess County, just west of Pattonsburg, will be closed starting April 18th for a bridge rehabilitation project. The Missouri Department oaf Transportation contracted with Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. to replace the bridge’s deck.
Crews will close the bridge to all traffic on Monday, April 18th at 7:00 am and the bridge will remain closed through mid-June.
A marked detour will be available During the closure over Route AA, Route T, and US 69.
The work planned will bring the bridge up to current standards and remove the current load posting which limits the speed of vehicles greater than 21 tons.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
