Ninety-five calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Department on Monday. Some of the calls include:
5:06 am, Complaint of a dog running loose and damaging property in the 500 block of Peacher Street. Dog damaged screen of residence. Officers observed the dog, which was caught about 90 minutes later.
11:25 am, Officers with unattended child in the Broadway and 11th Street area. The child was returned to the mother that had gone inside for a moment.
11:57 am, a 27-year-old came to the Chillicothe Police Department to turn themselves in on a Livingston Co. warrant for obstruction/resisting arrest or detention. Bond was posted.
1:32 pm, 24-year-old arrested in the 10 block of S. Washington Street on Probation/parole warrant for violation of parole restrictions. They were taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
6:51 pm, 22-year-old at the Chillicothe Police Department to turn themselves in on Livingston County warrants for Auto theft and resisting arrest. They were held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
9:26 pm, Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street for an equipment violation. An investigation determined they were driving with a revoked license and no insurance. The license was confiscated and they were cited for the offenses and released.
