The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for late March and early April includes several investigations by the School Resource Officer, including for suspected drugs, harassment, and threats.
Some of the other incidents in the report include:
On March 24th, a juvenile was stopped and detained for alleged DWI with drugs.
March 26th, an ATV was recovered when two juveniles in the “Third Street Bottoms” area ran from officers. The juveniles were identified and parents were contacted.
Theft of a go-cart was investigated in Wheeling. Following an investigation, deputies arrested 35-year-old Adam Daniel Caudill of Wheeling for alleged stealing. He posted bond and was released.
April 3rd, deputies investigated a report of an abandoned car on LIV233 that was blocking a driveway. The car was towed. Deputies later received a complaint from the car owner that their car had been towed,
Arrests:
April 2nd, 46-year-old Brandi Opal Peniston of Chillicothe surrendered on a warrant for alleged Failure to Appear on an original charge of No Valid License. She posted the $250 bond and was released.
April 2nd deputies and a police officer in the 400 block of Clay Street arrested 19-year-old Caleb Michael Chojnacki of Chillicothe on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Appear on a charge of Excessive Speed. He posted bond and was released.
