The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 85 calls for service Wednesday, including continued investigations, security checks, and traffic stops. Some of the calls include:
7:29 pm, Officers were dispatched to a business in the 600 block of St. Louis Street on a report of a person at the location that didn’t have permission to be there. Officers made contact with the subject and it was found that the subject was wanted on a Brookfield warrant. The 43-year-old was arrested on the warrant. During the arrest, officers discovered the individual was in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. They were unable to post the bond amount on the warrant and were taken to the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.
11:47 pm, Report in the 1700 block of Deringer Drive of a horse out of its pasture area. Officers located the horse and the owner was contacted to secure the animal.
