With the approval of the two ballot questions on April 5th, the Chillicothe R-II School District is ready to move forward with the expansion of the Chillicothe Elementary School. The district will soon begin the Bond process to secure the funds for construction. Dr Wiebers explained the next steps in the construction process.
The design process will continue into the early fall and Wiebers says the construction phase could begin in late fall.
Construction will take about 18-24 months and the district hopes to be in the expanded portion of CES by the fall of 2024
