State Troopers investigated two accidents in Linn county over the weekend
An accident in Linn county Saturday morning left two Georgia residents with minor injuries. At about 5:20 am, Troopers responded to the accident on US 36 near Laclede. 48-year-old semi-driver, Jamande Nichols of Hampton GA, was westbound and ran off the left side of the road, striking a concrete culvert. The truck overturned. Nichols and his passenger, 41-year-old Janese Freeman of Decatur GA had minor injuries and were taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment.
Sunday at about 7:15 pm, Troopers in Linn County responded to a two-vehicle accident on Elk road, west of Browning. Troopers report the vehicles were traveling through a curve on a narrow road and collided head-on. The drivers, 25-year-old Tristen T Creason and 61-year-old Thomas J Creason, both of Browning, were not injured in the accident, but a passenger in Thomas Creason’s vehicle, 52-year-old Amy Creason of Browning, had moderate injuries and was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment.
