A 16-year-old boy from Trenton was injured in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Grundy County. State Troopers report that at about 8:10 pm, the boy was westbound on Route E, west of Laredo, and after making it through a curve he ran off the north side of the road and struck the ditch. The car overturned several times, coming to rest on its wheels. The teen was not wearing a safety belt and had moderate injuries. He was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment.
