The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 100 calls for service Saturday. The calls include:
11:04 am, Officers responded to the 900 block of Frederick Street for a report of stealing. Reporting party stated their bench was stolen from their front yard. Investigation continuing.
11:22 am, Officers served a warrant in the 300 block of Cowgill Street, arresting a 22-year-old on a Parole Violation warrant, That person was processed and taken to the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail with no bond allowed.
10:48 pm, Officers checked the well-being of two people in the 1300 block of N. Washington Street. The report state one was a 24-year-old and the other was a 26-year-old, and both were found to have warrants from Kansas City. One of them began fleeing from Officers and was pursued on foot by Officers and captured in the 1300 block of Walnut Street. Both were determined to be in possession of illegal drugs and under influence of the narcotics. They were taken to Hedrick Medical Center and medically cleared before incarceration on the warrants and pending drug charges from our jurisdiction along with the resisting/fleeing charge.
